2003 Whooping Crane Migration

October 17, 2003

 

Sauk County, Wisconsin - Cooperative weather allowed the migration team to fly again today. All 15 cranes took off from Juneau County this morning at 7:37 a.m. They flew for 41 minutes, covering nearly 23 miles, and landed in Sauk County at 8:12 a.m.
